The EU debate on weakening the pesticide regulation is at full throttle. Both EU countries and the parliament discuss their positions and it doesn’t look good. At the same time, scientists and doctors warn of negative consequences and more new evidence shows that we have to leave the toxic chemical path and make a transition towards healthy and resilient agriculture. So far we see no signs of vision amongst politicians; most are only trying to please the chemical industry and are continuing down a dead-end road.
