Busy weeks in the fight for health and biodiversity. In a new report, we expose how the EU guidelines for protecting insects failed to block harmful pesticides. With our partners, we brought the case against glyphosate to the EU General Court. With our members, we found the forever chemical TFA even in once pristine mineral waters. The good news is that the EU Commission now proposes a ban on PFAS pesticide flufenacet. But more action needs to be taken: neurotoxic pesticides affect children’s brains and global restrictions are urgently needed. We and 260.000 citizens reminded the EU that pesticide reduction is urgent and met with representatives of the commission.
