Dear Commissioner Kyriakides,
On 14/15 July, during the EU Standing committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed (PAFF), the Commission will propose Member States to endorse an amended review report for the active substance propyzamide supporting the continued approval of the substance. We urge you to reject this review report, which is contrary to articles 1 (3)(4), 4 and 21 of Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009 and the Guidance Document SANCO/5634/2009; we urge you to proceed instead with a review and withdrawal of the approval of propyzamide in line with article 21.
