Dear Members of the European Parliament,
We are writing on behalf of 69 organisations across Europe in view of the next ENVI Committee meeting on 2 March, when MEP Sarah Wiener will present the draft report on the European Commission proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products (SUR) and amending Regulation (EU) 2021/2115.
Signatories of this letter closely follow the work on the draft proposal for a Regulation on the Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products. On multiple occasions and in different ways, we expressed our gravest concerns regarding the actions to water down, delay or retract the proposal.
