We call on the European Commission to withdraw the current implementing Regulation proposal on renewing the authorisation of the active substance glyphosate in the European Union for 10 years (from 16/12/2017 to 15/12/2027), with no restrictions, as this substance does not fulfil the requirements of the Plant Protection Products Regulation 1107/2009 to provide a high level of protection for humans, animals, the environment and its ecosystems, taking into consideration the precautionary principle.
